The company Astor Wohnideen GmbH was founded in 1999 and since then it has established itself at it's location in Westphalia, Germany.
The product line concentrates on high-quality forged household accessories, such as wardrobes, tables, accessories, small furniture and other conceptions.

Materials and production play an essential role: The wardrobe collections are being fabricated out of massive iron in the fitter's shop. Diminutions are being forged in special ovens with a pneumatic hammer or ambos. After they have been cleaned with the help of ultrasound, they are being brought into the right shape, fused and burred. Finally the finish is applied to the surfaces.

The products also get a premium powder coating or are being galvanised. This serves as an ideal protection against corrosion and makes the product easy to care for.
