BD Barcelona

BD Barcelona Design is the Spanish company with one of the highest international prestige in design. It was founded in 1972 as Bd Ediciones de Diseño by the architects and interior designers Pep Bonet, Cristian Cirici, Lluis Clotet, Mireia Riera and Oscar Tusquets. It has been awarded with the Premio Nacional de Diseño in 1989 and the European Community Design Prize in 1990.

One of the features of Bd's products is their very high quality requirements. In order to accoplish so, the company qualifies carefully its suppliers and controls until the last details all the products defore their shipment.
Within this strategy the company also got the ISO 9001:2000 quality cerfication and the CE mark for all their lighting products.
Also, before any product is launched to the market, it is tested with the most demanding tests according to the international norms to guarantee the best quality.
