The Paper Tissue - Box of Alessi covers the practical paper tissue in an elegant cover. The tissues, which shouldn't be missed in a bathroom, usually come in an ugly paper box, which lets us hide them in the coner of a cabnit.

Alessi and designer Piero Lissoni end this optical deficit: From now on the paper tissues can elegantly and stylish packed be prersented as design-object of Alessi.

The tissue-box convinces with its design, its elegant plainness and the characteristics, which lift the products of Piero Lissonis Birillo from the rest of the bathroom-accessories: Through the roundings on the floor, the storing areas are visible, the objects of the family seem to float on the flat aeas of the bathroom

The Paper Tissue - Box is part of the bathroom collection Birillo, which was designed by the star designer Piero Lissoni for Alessi. Plain and beautiful, practical and bulky Birillo offers the possibility, to fulfil the bathroom and to give it an elegant and aall round harmonious appearance.

Designeable Piero Lissoni was inrpired for Birillo by the shape of a rounded square, which evolve to different three dimensional bodies. The designer himself describes the shape as „imperfect square or totally missed round shape“. Thr combination of the materials stainless steel and plastic (PMMA) cater also for charming contrasts in optic and haptic.

Piero Lissoni was born in 1956 in Seregno, Italiy. After his architecture studies in Milan did he work as a designer for Molteni and Lema. In 1986 he founded in cooperation with Nicoletta Canesi the Milan studio "Lissoni Associat". Designer Piero Lissoni
