Disappointing - probably depends what you need them for though,

They will only stop the end of the cable from gliding through - they can't squeeze the cord itself. Also the adhesive seems to be fairly permanent - I thought they would be easy to move around. I needed them to ensure that e.g. the cord for my computer mouse always had some slack, so I don't have to pull it when the cord had "dropped down from the table" (hard to explain, but I think a lot of people will recognize the scenario).
