Karimoku New Standard - Ruler

The characteristic wooden grain of the ruler by the Japanese label Karimoku New Standard unifies aesthetics and design perfectly. The high tech procedure rings, printed as “annual rings”, have been placed with an exact distance of one centimeter, which knowingly integrates the practical demands of ruler in design besides the displaying of an elegant wooden look.

Also the pleasant touch of the sophisticated Japanese maple Ruler make the object with a common function a design object which doesn’t exchange its functionality by a pretty appearance, but combines both demands optimally. The functional and pragmatic design was coined by the Big-Game studio; this one has already been honored with multiple design awards.
