Iittala - Festivo Candle Holder

The Festivo candle holders are manufactured by the Finnish company Iittala, after a design from Timo Sarpaneva. Initially designed in 1966, the candlestick advanced to become a symbol for Finnish design along the years.

The artist and designer Timo Sarpaneva has offered a distinctive surface to his candlesticks. Visually and haptically, they look like a collection of icicles. The light breaks in the transparent glass corpus of the candlestick which offers elegantly and somehow very naturally space for one single candle. Festivo was one of the first product-series that was manufactured with the special matt glass effect in the 1960es.

Iittala offers the Festivo candlestick in eight different sizes which are atmospheric accessories alone or in groups on celebrity tables or during comfortable evenings with friends.
