Iittala - Festivo Candle Holder

The Festivo candle holders are manufactured by the Finnish company Iittala, after a design from Timo Sarpaneva. Initially designed in 1966, the candlestick advanced to become a symbol for Finnish design along the years.

The artist and designer Timo Sarpaneva has offered a distinctive surface to his candlesticks. They look like a collection of icicles visually and haptic. The light breaks in the transparent glass corpus of the candlestick, which offers space for one single candle elegantly and as if it grew naturally. Festivo was one of the first product-series that was manufactured with the special matt glass effect in the 1960es.

Iittala offers the Festivo candlestick in eight different sizes which are moody accessories alone or in groups on celebrity tables or during comfortable evenings with friends.
