The Scope45 wall clock by the Netherlands manufacturer Leff Amsterdam offers an unusual, elementary perspective of time: by the angled surface of the clock, a game between light and darkness emerges, so that the inseparable elements introduce time and light into the elegant design. As well as the time itself, the Scope45 is based on light and darkness, since the twelve-different-segments subdivided wall clock changes the shadows by changing the view, daytime or light-income. This visual staging is even emphasized by the mono-colour look of the Scope45, since the dial as well as the simple and straight pointers are kept in white.
The unbreakable, Japanese clockwork is integrated in a high-quality polystyrene housing which brings very good mood into the house of very design-enthusiast with its minimalist and modern appearance.
As business-designer at Leff Amsterdam, Ervin Termaat tries to create contemporary products, combined with appealing design by connecting common things so that they become something exceptional. Designer Erwin Termaat
