The round metall-wire basket "826" stands in the tradition of a long history of hardware.

In the later 1940s, when Alessi passed from the art artificial handcraft into the industrial production, the wire basket was one of the first objects, which asserted in the engineer- bureau at the development in handling with new technologies, like the wire-bending-mashine.

The solution: a creation of a little series of baskets, with a very elementare character, which a lot of people still like.
