Crate is a fruit bowl of the special kind. It came from the feather of the British designer Andrew Tanner, who initially designed Crate out of ceramic and won several design awards with it in the United Kingdom.

In cooperation with the young British company Mode Product Design, the designer Andrew Tanner created this silicone version of his fruit bowl Crate.

The idea to Crate emerged from the boring product selection that has existed in the bowls area before, said Tanner. The maxim was it to create a container that looks good when it is filled as well as empty.

The ceramic version is considered a future design classic and since also silicone doesn’t mean fewer elegance and functionality, the new variant is equally noble.

Alone or beside others (for example for longer buffets) Crate presents itself and your fruits impressively.
