The inhabitants of the French Lozère call the blowpipe “Bouffadou” or “device to make fire without burning the moustache”.
One blows through the pine-point cut cane to light fire – without winding ashes around. Near the fire comes the time of telling the history of the Bouffanelle witch. She invented the magical cane in the woods of Gévaidan a long time ago. This means that the Bouffadou is surely not an Auerberg object. However, we were delighted by this simplicity.
