The Hay company developed a practical possibility to store letters, important documents, notes and every other kind of written pieces with their „Plissé” tray.

As the name already reveals, Plissé (French: folded) says it all, since the tray consists of folded pockets out of paper, coated by a resistant piece of cardboard. The interior can be unfold as if there were compartments, so that all the pockets are separately and everything will be easy to find. If it is not used, Plissé can be folded like a book and stored in the shelf.

Hay sets accents with colours: Plissé is available in different colours, starting with decent up to lurid. Moreover, Plissé is a document shelving system which is available in common formats Din A5, Din A4 and Din A3.
