With the dread of harmful lamp oil its now over – in cooperation with the Technologic Institut of Denmark Blindkilde designed a bio-oil, which protects the children and nature of damages.

The new lamp oil is made of a herbal raw material basis and is compared to usual mineralic lamp oils eco-firendly (CO2-neutral) and not dangerous and can be used like all other lamp oils – without being toxic.

The clear Bio Lamp Oil is produced by Agowa, a Danish Biotechnology-Business, and features thanks to the natural raw materials a little smell (not perfumed).

Oil shouldn’t be lighten under any circumstances. By means of using the according oil lamps with wicks, an over-heating of the oil surrounding the wick to more than the critic temperature is unlikely. By adapted usage, our house hasn’t had such problems yet.

The danger of spreading carbon monoxide by dust of not down-burned lamp-oil does deciding depend on the open amount. By adapted usage there is hardly danger of poisoning.

A carbon-development by burning the lamp oil cannot be avoided completely. After manufacturers-information, burning common lamp-oil spreads less carbon than a usual candle.
