Design im Dorf - Cylinder Light

The elegant cylinder light by Design im Dorf delights with its soft light and its simple and still noble appearance. Made out of massive walnut and a satined glass shade, it is perfectly suitable for both: indoor and outdoor use. The design was coined by Jetta Schieb.

Design im Dorf only uses endemic wood out of the near environment for the production of its objects. The products are furthermore treated with environment-friendly oils and waxes.

Who wants to be satisfied with its wooden products for a long time should note one thing: wood doesn’t like a lot of water. That is why cylinder light should only be cleaned with warm water and dried with a soft tissue. Afterwards it should be stored at an airy place outside of the cupboard. For a better care you could polish the walnut corpus with a drop of edible oil and a soft tissue. These small works will keep the natural beauty of wood over many years!
