Design with light by Maria Bernsten – designed for the life under the open sky!

With the first mild spring nights it comes to a displacement of the daily rituals: the homely life will become a life outside. Candles and torches are thereby the embodiment of comfort and relaxing atmosphere.

With the glass lantern Design with light, Holmegaard tributes the life under the open sky. Design with light, short DWL, has been designed by Maria Bernsten who separated them from the classic outdoor lanterns with their organic forms and refined materials.

For Design with light Maria Bernsten was inspired by bottles, by their famous form as well as by the thought of small and bottles assembled in a group. The Design with light lanterns are therefore available in different sizes that were carefully coordinated to each other and that are perfectly arranged to have a quite life on the floor, the terrace or the garden table.

The lanterns were designed out of transparent glass. Tea lights or block candles can be placed inside of it through the drop-form middle according to your demands. As practical detail, each Design with light lantern possesses a carrying strap out or natural leather that make a transportable and active utility object out of it.

Although the shape was designed for a use outdoors thanks to its glass and leather assembly, the lanterns from Design with light can also be used inside during the whole year.
