areaware - Animal Boxes, Whale

The Animal Box with the Whale by areaware is a sculpture and a small box to hide private things. Each Animal Box represents a strong animal. It is a symbol and a totem for dreams and ambitions of its owner.

The designer Karl Zahn shaped the Animal Box Whale knowingly simple so that the symbolism of the animal doesn’t get lost in unnecessary decoration or details. Beside the symbolic function, each animal box is furthermore a storage box for small objects. A joint allows the opening of the box, which can include smaller objects at the time.

Areaware manufactures the Animal Box after a design from Karl Zahn out of beech wood.
