The designers Alken & Bengtsson used soft "bands“ out of black, powder coated stainless steel to design different articles that support different candles, from votive candles over wax candles up to pillar candles, inspired by the festive character of bands – that inseparably belong to gifts and celebrations announcing good things.

The dark metal reminds of smithy iron, a homage to one of the most important elements of nature. The Ribbons black edition is versatile and can be used inside and outside. The black swung shapes are wonderfully silhouetted against green grass or white snow.

They ensure some kind of classic Nordic atmosphere. With their flat bands, that are seamlessly and endlessly connected, the Ribbons series is a special way of lighting homes in Christmas periods, whereby their dark beauty also acts effectively during the whole year.
