The Fire Candleholder by the Finnish manufacturer Iittala is an impressive candle holder which spreads a warm, pleasant, crackling atmosphere, thanks to its candlelight. The votive candle holder consists of foam ceramics with little gaps that ensure an effectively filtered candlelight. This light, emerging that way, offers a little trace of romanticism and pleasant warmth on the table.

The light has been inspired by an ancient Finnish tradition: The Finns made lanterns out of ice before, letting it stand outside the snow afterwards. But please notice that the Fire Candleholder should only be carefully washed by hand because of its gracefulness.
