The original Netherlands Delftware manufacture “De Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles“ was founded in the year 1653 and it is the leading manufacturer of the authentic Delft Blue Ornaments which decorates numerous porcelain and stoneware products.

Some centuries after the foundation of the Delft manufacture was the foundation of the Senz company in the city of Delft which won numerous awards for its weatherproof and aerodynamic umbrellas, and which is widely famous beyond Netherlands’ borders.

A unusual cooperation between the innovative umbrella producer Senz and the traditional Delft porcelain manufacture created the special edition of the Senz umbrella. A mixture of tradition, innovation and love for details emerged out of the love to Delft.

The Senz umbrellas are considered the victory of design over the weather: umbrellas that search and find their special aerodynamic form by themselves in the wind at any time. Even by hard wind the umbrella is comfortable to carry – until approx.. 60 km/h wind velocity the Senz Umbrella Mini protects from rain.

Beside the Royal Deft Mini which perfectly suits bags or pockets there also is the larger Senz Original in the Royal Delft special edition, available on demand.
