Senz Umbrellas are the victory from design over the weather. Finally umbrellas that do always search the best position in the wind by themselves, and find it, thanks to their special aerodynamic form. Even by the strongest wind speed, a Senz Mini umbrella will offer protection from floods from above.

Why did it take centuries until really weatherproof umbrellas were invented? This question was also asked by the Holland designer after he came home wholly wet: “we did fly to the moon, but why isn’t there a proper umbrella on the planet?” and just like a passionate designer has to do, he searched a solution with friend designers that he knew from his studies by Bruno Ninhaber van Eyben. They created the world wide success that we also present in Germany now: the ultimate umbrella, smart, strong and stylish, with a special good view to the front and without dangerous sprays but therefore with unique eye-protectors.

Because of its dimensions, the Mini umbrella is perfectly storable in bags and cases. Its aerodynamic form that makes it play with the wind instead of fighting it, ensures the best view. The umbrella does only search the best position to resist the wind alone.

It is not by chance that Senz Umbrellas were nominated for the Dutch Design Award 2007 and the German Design Award 2008. They already received the red dot award 2007. The three designers Gerwin Hoogendoorn, Gerard Kool and Philip Hess continue working together as “Senz” – we are already curious about their exceptional problem-solutions.
