Senz Umbrellas are the victory of the weather design. Finally there are umbrellas which will find their position in the wind with their special aerodynamic shape. Even if the wind is really strong, the umbrella is easy to carry around - up to wind force 10 or 100 km/h protects you the Senz Umbrella from the tides of the heaven.

By the way: Wind force 10 on the Beaufort scale means: it roots out trees, breaks boles, garden furniture flys away, and here wil be large damages on the houses. Why did it take years to design really storm-safe umbrellas? The same thing asked a Dutch designer, after he came soaking wet home: „We flew to the moon, but why isn't there a real umbrella on this planet?“ As normal it is for a passionate designer, did he look for a solution with designers that he knew from studying at Bruno Ninaber van Eyben. The designed the world-wide-success, which we present you now also in the german-speaking are: The ultimative umbrella, smart, strong and stylish, with extreme good view to the front and without any dangerous pikes.

No wonder that the Senz Umbrellas were nominated for the Dutch Design Award 2007 and the German Design Award 2008. They already wn the Reddot Design Award 2007.The three designers Gerwin Hoogendoorn, Gerard Kool and Philip Hess continued to work under the name Senz – we are excited what problem they will solve next.
