Flensted Mobiles - Symphony in 3 Movements Mobile

”When everything is going well, a mobile is a piece of poetry that dances and surprises with ‘joie de vivre’, said the US-American sculptor Alexander Calder, who is considered to be the mobiles’ master and who perfected this art.

Today, and already since 50 years, the name of the Danish family Flensted stands for conceptions of high quality and innovative mobiles that enrich the room on a fascinating way. The Symphony 3 Movements mobile was designed by the company founder Christian designit’s son, Ole Flensted. Made out of wood, every mobile is assembled and balanced by hand, so that it can later unfold its whole atmosphere at every little breeze.

As its name suggests, three object-symphonies turn like solar system planets around central “celestial bodies”. This is how a balance and tranquillity feeling emerges, which (especially in combination with music) offers a wonderful relaxation and daily stress easing.
