The optical colour mixer shows us, how the rotating of the spinner makes a optical mixing of the colours. Aspects of the chromatics are demonstrated with changeable discs. After a design of Ludwig Hirschfeld-Mack of the year 1977 was it first produced and is since then a toy with a high pedagogic level.
The art pedagogic program of fthe legendary „Bauhauses“ was for the advancement of design and architecture in the 20th century. The philosophy of the interlock of artistic, manufacturing and social dimensions is a fundamental reversal point to the „Industrial Design“. Ludwig Hirschfeld-Mack was from 1920 to 1926 at the Bauhaus in Weimar and solved here his art-print-assistent-test.
The Naef Games AG produces the Bauhaus-toys after their original designs.
Ludwig Hirschfeld-Mack was born in 1893 and died 1968. He belonged to most innovative artists of the Bauhaus. He was involved in the graphic-editioons as an assistant of the print shop of the Weimar Art School. Designer Ludwig Hirschfeld-Mack
