Menu - Stackable Ovenproof Dish

The articles from the series “stackable ovenproof dishes” from the designer Christian Bjørn can be stacked inside of the oven. Notches at the sides ensure that the warmth moves freely heating meals in all forms simultaneously.

The forms are available in three sizes. Every size fits on a form of the same size – but the three sizes can also be mixed. Two middle large dishes fit on the largest one, and two of the smallest fir on the middle sized. This makes it possible to stack two layers, warming every meal independently.

At every edge, the forms have a foot made out of heat resistant silicone. This makes it possible to place the forms on the table directly after taking them out of the oven – without coasters. You can also stack two forms over each other and place tea-lights in the lower one. This keeps the meal warm.

The forms can be placed in the hot oven directly from the freezer, because they consist of porcelain that was burned by 1370 degree Celsius, this made them robust and long lasting and for this reason they do also possess a surface that is easily cleanable. The glazing is acids-resistant and does therefore not change its colour. Moreover the glaze does not include lead, or cadmium. This does also mean that the forms can be employed in the microwave and the dishwasher.
