The Bistro strainer from Bodum is a part of the sieves series that combines robust materials with through-thought designs. Bodum manufactures its Bistro colanders out of silicone. This makes it light, slip-safe and heat-resistant.

Problem-free you can pour hot meals into the strainer. It possesses two stabile grips made out of stainless steel with a silicone coating at its laterals. This makes it possible for you to touch the sieve at any time without any problems, also if the insert is hot. A small hook at the opposite exterior side furthermore allows to hand the sieve in a pot.

The holes of the strainer are big enough for water to decant fast. This avoids an unnecessary weight growth because of pent up water. Simultaneously the holes are small enough for the insert to stay in the colander and not to fall into the sink or the pot. After usage the sieve can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
