The storage box Purnukka was designed by Kaj Franck in 1953. As also his Teema dishes, the Purnukka boxes are timeless beautiful and practical. Purnukka consists of ceramic and can be used in the whole household. Suitable to the end of the year, Iittala offers Purnukka in a Christmas-suitable red.

The Purnukka storage boxes series was already produced from 1953 to 1975. Kaj Franck designed them as fulfill to his Teema dishes in that time. Purnukka, just like Teema, possesses a timeless elegance and is perfectly introducible in Kaj Franck’s concept of few but multifunctional furnishing objects.

Purnukka is not only suitable for aliments in the kitchen with its two sizes, but can also serve as practical storage box in the whole house. To store them optimally, the boxes are furthermore stackable.

Suiting the Teema dishes, Iittala presents Purnukka in a wide colours selection. Purnukka therefore offers numerous combination possibilities with each other and with the dishes.

The Purnukka storage boxes in red are a special edition to Christmas and therefore only available until the 31st of march of 2011!
