The storage boxes Purnukka were designed by Kaj Franck in the year 1953. As well as his Teema dishes, the Purnukka boxes are timeless pretty and practical. Purnukka is a ceramic storage solution and is applicable in the whole household.

The Purnukka storage boxes collection was already produced from 1953 to 1975. Kaj Franck designed them as fulfil for his Teema dishes at that time. Like Teema, Purnukka also possesses a timeless elegance and can be perfectly inserted in Kaj Franck’s concept of few but multifunctional furnishing elements.

With two different sizes Purnukka does not only suit for food in the kitchen, but it can also be a practical storage object in the whole household. To store them optimally, the boxes are stackable.

Matching the Teema dishes, Iittala presents Purnukka in a wide colour range. This is how Purnukka offers numerous combination possibilities with each other and the dishes.
