Armug is a tea glass out of heat resistant glass and stainless steel. Aldo Rossi designed Armug for the Italian company Alessi in the year 1991. The glass lies in a frame that can be removed from the drink not depending on its temperature thanks to its handle. The gaps in the frame allow a glimpse into the tea glass.
The designer Also Rossi is considered the dramaturgy of abstraction, reduction and brevitas and has created some of the poetic architecture- and design works of his time with his strict style of primary forms, geometry and subliminal evocations.
