Arne Jacobsen created a future oriented and minimalist cutlery in the year 1957, which is more contemporaneous than ever today.

The cutlery was originally designed for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen. When it was provided in the year 1957, it was very controversial.

The bright lines are connected to the manufacture work-out to a form that makes it lie pleasantly in the hand.

The slim form and the miner contour from Arne Jacobsen has made Modell a classic.

The cutlery Arne Jacobsen was shown in the 2001 Stanley Kubrik – A Space Odyssey film, as in others.

Along the years it became one of the most famous Georg Jensen cutleries.

Arne Jacobsen is made out of matt, stainless steel.

Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) used to be professor at the Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and was appointed Dr. h.c. by several foreign universities and academies. He is considered as one of the pathfinders of the current furniture art.. Designer Arne Jacobsen
