Arne Jacobsen Salad Set

This cutlery series is a creation of the designer Arne Jacobsen from 1957. Despite its age, it is still very up-to-date. Its minimalism and the clear lines combined with the technical workmanship make it a shape that can be held perfectly in the hand and that has become more and more popular throughout the years. It was also called the “uncomplicated cutlery”, an appropriate understatement, even if paradox. The cutlery series made of mat 18/10 stainless steel is so popular because of this characteristic trait and has placed itself aside all fashion.

The salad set, 31.5 cm in length, can be also used for pasta or other meals.

Arne Jacobsen (1902-1971) used to be professor at the Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and was appointed Dr. h.c. by several foreign universities and academies. He is considered as one of the pathfinders of the current furniture art.. Designer Arne Jacobsen
