Fork with 5 prongs ?

This novelty has been celebrated as sensational innovation by experts. Carl Pott wanted to widen the fork’s dimensions practically. This makes it easier to pick up cauces and vegetables (peas won’t fall down easily). Meals will lie better like that. That is the reason why the number of prongs had to be enlarged, so that the single prongs mustn’t be separated losing their function or expanded unsightly. A special accent was given to this clearly divided cutlery-piece by a dine horizontal gap at the end of the handle: The point on the i – the small diagonal line at the end of the handle, which doesn’t harm the flat, clear, geometric form.

The model 33 is one of the huge successes by Carl Pott, a continuous top-seller, evergreen, which has already been honored with numerous awards. It has been included in all art-museums of Germany.
