mono-a is the quintessential design of the mono flatware family. Designed in 1959 by Professor Peter Raacke, it continues to stand for the purist's definition of form and function.

mono-a is considered a classic, and has been the recipient of numerous domestic and international awards. Today, mono-a is known as the most sold German flatware of the post-war era.

While back then mono-a was still avant-garde it’s now a classic of table culture. It combines classy design with the highest manufacturing quality.

Numerous awards and expositions inland and abroad made mono-a famous. It is today considered the most-sold German Post-War design cutlery.

Design: Prof. Peter Raacke

With the creation of the legendary cutlery mono-a, Peter Raacke, born in Hanua in 1928, made design history. Being a professor and lecturer at the universities of Darmstadt, Kassel and Hamburg, he has influenced many young designers. Designer Prof. Peter Raacke
