Description

Light Tower is a Made by Makers designed tealight holder by Normann Copenhagen. Five lantern lights find place in every Light Tower. Always intending on changes and movements, the designers from Made by Makers melted the classic lantern light holder with a completely different object creating a plastic candle holder in a simple and dynamic industry design.

Made by Makers is a product design and concept agency of Aarhus in Denmark. Its designs comes from a process of ideas of the whole design team. The thought of the designers, which hides behind the candle holder Light Tower is the anxiety for changes and the interpretation of movement around the centre of the product. The result is a new kind of candle holder whose appearance can vary by different alignments of the candle holders, being shaped compact or open.

Made by Makers explains: ”Our designs are very function-oriented. Furthermore, new designs have to withdraw from the others to really be successful. Lantern light holders hardly differ to each other and are often offered in pairs. Our new candle holder displays the normal practical holding form and still has a lot of surprises because of the new design. According to how you turn and align the lights, the candle holder changes like a chameleon.”

Normann Copenhagen manufactures Light Tower out of Aluminium.
