Sébastien Cordoleani re-invented the vase with his Plan: The flat object by Moustache turns our idea of a vase upside-down.
This is only because the slate made Plan vase is flat on the ground, while the other relatives grow upwards. A small opening makes the vase functional: leaves, branches, wire and flowers find a place in there – it doesn’t matter if they have a long or a short stem. If the Plan vase is filled, the opening disappears under the water.
Despite of the flat form, a deep, three-dimension impression emerges, which is even reinforced by the decoration growing incredibly high as well as by its reflections. The Moustache Plan vase is made in Italy and also available in a white variant out of Carrara marble.
