The picture frame „My Brother’s Frame“ was designed by Harry Allen for areaware. Design and name of the picture frame have the same origin. They lie back to an ancient picture frame that the designer found on his brother’s shelf.
Harry Allen overworked the ancient picture frame of his brother and reinterpreted it with contemporaneous materials and different colours. Areaware manufactures “My Brother’s Frame” out of resin and marble today. Colour and material are in a fascinating contrast to the classic and rich decorated design of the picture frame.
A 10 x 15 cm picture can be placed in the middle of the “My Brother’s Frame”.
Harry Allen is an award-winning interior and industrial designer. As an interior designer, Mr. Allen achieved prominence in 1994 for his design of Moss, a design gallery in New York City. Designer Harry Allen
