For the first time since 1972 the Black & White graph from Alexander Girard is available as wall art. The American Company Columbia Forest Products presents it as part of the PLYprints-series. The Black & White motive is directly printed on wood.

The delivery of the Black & Bloom Woodprint happens directly with mounting material. An included distance holder allows a floating hanging of the plywood board at the wall. The vivid print ably mixes colours with the natural wood consistence.

Alexander Girard counts to the embossing figures of the American post-war design besides George Nelson and Charles and Ray Eames. Girard’s designs are still produced and provided by companies like Maximo, Herman Miller, Vitra and others. They haven’t lost any of their actuality until today.
