Businessmen are wall stickers with graphs by the French artist Geneviève Gauckler that are produced in the French Company Domestic. According to what the designer said, “Businessmen” is a portrait to the arrogance of mighty men that suppose themselves the world leaders.

For her graphs, Gaickler has combined photographs from suits wearers with illustrated heads. The Businessmen heads were consciously kept strangely ugly by the designer. They stand in contrast to the realist suits and are a reference to the arrogance of all the suits-wearing-creatures with their irritating appearance.

With Businessmen, the designer’s fascination for ugliness meets her enthusiasm for schematical pictures. The combination of illustrated characters with pictures of everyday motives is the trademark from Geneviève Gauckler. Businessmen initially emerged for the “Paris 59%, Tokyo 41%” show and is produced by the French Company Domestic today.

The wall stickers adhesive and can be fixed at walls.
