The miniature version of the legendary Lounge Chair & Ottoman from Charles & Ray Eames is a part of the miniature collection from Vitra. The model with the 1:6 scales corresponds to the historic original from the Vitra Museum collection regarding the construction, its material and colour in every detail.

Lounge Chair & Ottoman are inspired by the traditional English club chairs – according tothat the design seems rustic-heavy and extremely comfortable. The designers Charles & Ray Eames had the aim to connect ultimate comfort with the highest quality in material and procedure, when they shaped their creations in 1956. Totally according to this demand, the Lounge Chair creates the impression of a soft, used baseball glove in which one will sink in – that makes the armchair a synonym for stylish comfort since more than 50 years.

The miniature version of the Lounge Chair is a faithful copy and consists of curved plywood, cast aluminium and a leather cushion.
