Verner Panton’s free swinging chair is the most consequent expression of a design understanding that wants to realize an object in one single material and a flowing form. The Panton Chair has entered the market in the 1960es. Its undisputed status as a classic of the modern furniture design has assured a space in the permanent collection of the Vitra Museum to it.

Because of this faithfulness the miniatures from Vitra are not only valuable collectors’ objects but also the ideal illustrative materials for universities, design colleges and architects.
The miniatures collection from Vitra is unique in the world. For every single miniature the company possesses a licence contract with the designer or its heir. In many cases it is directly worked together with the designers for the miniatures, to fabric a miniature as close as possible to the original.
