Peter Ghyczy counts to the outstanding personalities that have brought the design of the sixties a whole lot of quantum leaps forward. The publisher Bernd Polster talks about Peter Ghyczy for the first time. There were many new beginnings in the career from the Hungarian: after the escape he studied architecture in the federal republic. He began his career as one of the first chef designers in the chemistry industry in the year 1968. New developments from polyurethane in all furniture categories emerged, including classics like his hinged “Garden-egg”. Finally he became a successful inventor.
