The SDC29 Origin is a sturdy and versatile vacuum cleaner from Dyson. Thanks to the root cyclone technology, there are no dustbags needed, and it provides constant high suction power. The telescope bar is adjustable, light and robust.

For best possible suction power, the DC29 is available with three different attachments. The Flat Out floor nozzle is extra flat, perfect for cleaning under furniture. The nozzle automatically adjusts to the floor surface without having to switch manually. Included in the DC29 delivery are a combination nozzle (a combination of dirt- and brush nozzle) and a upholstery nozzle. The attachments can be stored easily accessable on the telescope bar.

For largest possible comfort while vacuuming, the hose cuff is rotatable and the handle bar can be detatched. With a switch on the handle the suction power can be reduced while vacuuming drapes, upholstery or rugs. While vacuuming the DC29 picks up allergenics and produces fresh clean exhaust air. The dust bin of the DC29 is transparent, so you can see at any time how the equipment is working and when the bin has to be emptied.

While other vacuum cleaners frequently clog up because of dust and dirt resulting in loosing suction power, Dyson is replacing the dust bag with the Root Cyclone Technology. This guarentees a constant high suction power. Without the dust bin you also save money and produce less garbage. The Dyson filters are washable and have a long lifespan.

And this is whats behind the Root Cyclone Technology: The researchers at Dyson discovered that a cyclone with a smaller diameter produces a greater centrifugal force, and took advantage of this principle to develop a whole new cyclone system: In this process air runs through the big cyclone and is than being splitted into further smaller cyclones simultaneously - hence the Name Root Cyclone. Result of this revolutionary technology is a significantly higher constant suction power and therefor a considerably improved dust collection.
