The name Libratone especially emphasizes three things: convincing wireless-technology, music in Hi-Fi quality and high quality Scandinavian design that renounces every knickknack. The aim: To create a sound system that works without u8nnecessary cables and that can be mounted everywhere.

A loudspeaker – outstanding sound quality

The Libratone Live Box connects innovative AirPlay-technology with high-end Audio-components. Five dedicated amplifiers with a total power of 150 Watt and most advanced digital signal processing ensure precise bass and crystal tones.

The patented FullRoom®-technology enables a room-filling sound backdrop since the higher and middle tones are designed to spread music in a 360° angle.

Jes Mosgaard, CTO, Libratone about the product launch: ”A common stereo loudspeaker spreads sound to the front in one direction. This forms a small, limited space in the middle of the room where music sounds clear, whilst all surrounding spaces get little access to the sound wave. Our patented FullRoom-technology ensures the end of this limited space, since the box spreads sound to all directions and to walls that reflect sound waves. Comparing to normal systems, the sound backdrop will be greater with a larger separation of the listener with the Libratone Live. This enables the impress of a real concert of your favorite music band in the middle of your living room.”

Music enjoyment on a new way

Thanks to the FullRoom-technology, Libratone Live can also be used with acoustic difficulties since a stereo room sound is created by wave-reflections.

Jes Mosgaard: ”Our relationship to music changed basically, Music does no longer belong to determinate moments, but to determinate contexts. With the Libratone Live, which offers the perfect mixture of AirPlay, Hi-Fi and appearance, we want to enable the possibility of listening to music always and everywhere, without renouncing quality.”

For the improvement of room sound, the Libratone Live can be calibrated with an iPhone-App, so that music is played adapted to the exact room where it stands. Only a few adjustings are necessary for this.
