…and the swan is also designed by Arne Jacobsen!
In 1958 the designer Arne Jacobsen had the challenge to design furniture for the lobby and the lounge area of the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel. The results of the creation process were the swan, and the egg-two chair, which are now true classics of the design.
In 1958, the swan armchair was a technical reform and his design arouse sensation: The swan has no straight lines, only curves. Because of this, the swan received a graceful and friendly outward appearance.
