The Plane Bed that designer Felix Stark designed for Müller Möbelwerkstätten unifies form and function in perfection. The bed inspires enthusiasm with its harmonic and graphic form-speaking and offers several practical details.

Plane is especially expressive as single bed. The beautiful, curved form of the high lateral is an eye-catcher and useful as a delimitation at the same time. The strongly added double clipboard is a pretty detail and offers deposit space for alarm-clocks and night table lamps, while below there is more space for books & Co.

The single bed Plane has a 75 cm high head end, a curved lateral and at one long side a double clipboard. The fittings for the deposit of the slatted frame are 4 times height-adjustable. The beds are delivered disassembled.

The combination of the light, curved form and the oiled, soft edges of the Finnish birch plywood offers the Plane bed natural warmth. Curved outside-contours, visible edges and the monochromatic space build an exciting contrast. The even and spacey bed form, give the design its name.

The Finnish birch plywood with its oiled and soft edges is available with black or white coatings. The beds consist of 18 mm strong birch multiplex boards with a white covering or a black transparent melamine resin coating. The multiplex boards are laminated wood, solid wood. The border is oiled, nature left.

The single bed Plane from Müller Möberwerkstätten is available in several dimensions. The optional bed drawer at the foot end is seamless inserted in the fluent contour of the bed and it offers a lot of space for bedding and ceilings. The box is also suitable as a sitting bench and as deposit place.
