Zanotta - Nyx Bed

Zanotta - Nyx Bett, 96 x 206 cm, weiß lackiert Icon

The Nyx Bed was designed by Emaf Progetti in 2010 for the Italian manufacturer Zanotta. It was the aim of the designer to create a minimalist bed without unnecessary ornaments which would suit every furnishing with its clear expression.

With Nyx the designers prove that less can easily be more: ”It was about to design a bed which would be adapted to both, reading and watching TV, offering the comfort of a sofa at the same time,” explained the designers of Emaf Progetti.

The frame of the Nyx bed consists of lacquered steel. The frame is fulfilled by a slatted frame out of bent beech staves. The slatted frame can be rolled and regulated in its flexibility.

The Nyx bed from Zanotta is available in a total of six sizes and in black and white.
