The Bistro Table Kissi Kissi was designed by the designer Miki Astori for the Italian manufacturer Driade in the year 2005. Because of its modern design, the table was included in the Driade Store collection. The collection exists since the middle of the 1990es and is directed to a younger clientele.
The shapely design from Kissi Kissi is embossed by the curved and clear forms, made out of robust plastic by Driade. Thereby the Bistro Table enqueues itself seamlessly in the Driade Store collection; where also furniture pieces from great designers like Philippe Starck or Tokujin Yoshioka are.
The frame and the table top from Kissi Kissi consist of polyethylene. This plastic is extremely robust and weatherproof and the table is therefore adapted to indoor and outdoor user. Driade offers Kissi Kissi in four colours.
Miki Astori was born in Milan in the year 1965. After he graduated in Architecture, he began working as interior designer together with Antonia Astori. In 1992 he moved to Paris, where he works together with Philippe Starck. Designer Miki Astori
