Vitra - Eames Plastic Side Chair DSX

Eames Plastic Side Chair is a contemporary version of the legendary Fiberglass Chair. It was created in cooperation with Zenith Plastics for the "Low Cost Furniture Design" competition of the Museum of Modern Art's and was the first industrial made chair out of plastic.

The organic shaped seat is connected to the metal base with integrated »Shock Mounts«, which gives you a relaxing, and very comfortable sitting feeling. Wether in privacy, restaurants, waiting rooms, offices, conference rooms or large halls, the Eames Plastic Chair DSX (Dining Height Side Chair X-Base) fits in all kinds of ambiences.

The Eames Plastic Side Chair by Charles & Ray Eames, out of the year 1950, is also available in other colours, with other cushions and/ or with a different coated base for outdoor use.
