About a Chair by Hay is a collection with outstanding simplicity in design. With it the designer Hee Welling compassed a new level in the combination of shape, function, comfort, detail, and aesthetic.

The About a Chair AAC 20 possesses armrests and a rotatable four-leg frame. The seat consists of polypropylene, the frame of aluminium. About a Chair has consciously been kept simple and plain and can therefore be combined with other furniture and surroundings without any problems.

After the association of designer Hee Welling the About a Chair-chairs should feel home in the restaurant or in the cafeteria, and also in the office, on the homely eating table or the conference table. In this context the idea of the simplicity became a guarantor for functionality and combinability.

About a Chair is a chair series, which can not only be combined with other furniture, but also with each other, because all seat shells and frames can be assembled according to your demands. The perfection and aesthetics is achieved and the chairs seem accidentally and unmeant.

About a Chair from Hay is also available in further colours, as cushioned version, without armrests and with a wooden frame.
