Longing for holidays on the island?
The circular form of the Big Island Table was created by Japanese designer Tomoyuki Matsuoka.
As a part of the Island series by Blå Station, the sofatable can be perfectly combined with the other elements. Together with the Small Island Bench, the Big Island Bench or the Small Island Sofatable, the table offers several ways of combining and placing varieties. However, it also wins over just as a single table for a couch or a sofa.
The Island-Series is the interpretation of Japanese designer Tomoyuki Matsuoka about a meeting and the mingling between Scandinavian and Japanese Design. Very practical is the foldable underframe of the Big Island Table since it enables a quick buildup and also an easy storage.
The foldable underframe is made of silver varnished steel. The table top has a diameter of 1.15 m and consists of plywood which is veneered in oak or white laminated. On request, other table which can be related to projects are available.
The Japanese Tomoyuki Matsuoka was born in 1970 and studied product design and architecture in Japan and Denmark. For Blå Station, he created the colourful Island Series. Matsuoka emphasizes a natural-harmonic and timeless design. Designer Tomoyuki Matsuoka
