Fritz Hansen - PK61 Coffe Table

The PK61 Coffee Table, which Poul Kjærholm already designed in 1955, is typically for the work of the designer. It is elegant, aesthetic and minimalistic.

The quadratic table top sits on a base, whose legs stand shifted. Because of that, the table is even with his simple elgance an optical effect, which looks from above like a symmetry, and from the side it lets the viewer confuse for a little while. Because the table top seems like it doesnt fit to the legs.

Because of its converting and its minimalistic, but effictive design is the coffe table PK61 another classic furniture of Fritz Hansen.
