The designer Nicholai Wiig Hansen again created a design that includes melted function and aesthetics in one, for Normann Copenhagen.
The essence of the table Tablo lies in the interplay of two materials with different expression, whose combination offers a style-pure and attractive design. The refined and precisely formed table-edge breaks the round form – the result is a minimalist table without unnecessary details.
The name Tablo refers to the word “table” on one side, and “tableau” out of the French language on the other side – a scenic theatre arrangement. By its straight form, Tablo harmonically suits in most of the interiors. Tablo is available in two different sizes and easily mountable without any screws.
Nicholai Wiig Hansen explains: ”I focus on melting function, material and aesthetics to a higher unity. A design has to be useful and to fulfil basic demands without compromising by its visual effects. According, the easy assembly is part of the Tablo functionality.”
